Jan. 13—Police arrested Rodney Lee Anderson, 60, for criminal damage to property and hit-and-run after receiving a report at 8:17 a.m. Friday of an RV that hit a house at 1020 James Ave.
According to police, the RV was parked across the street from the house on James Avenue, and Anderson reportedly backed it across the street and hit the house.
Police stated Anderson initially fled the scene but later returned.
There was damage to the sheet rock, plaster and lath, and a basement wall.
The homeowner was inside the house at the time of the incident but was not injured.
Windows smashed out
Police received a report at 9:45 a.m. Saturday of a window that had been smashed out of a vehicle at 1016 Garfield Ave.
A rock was reported thrown at a vehicle at 3:32 p.m. Saturday at 1013 St. Thomas Ave. A window was smashed out.
Shoplifter reported
Police received a report at 4:44 p.m. Friday of a shoplifter at 1550 Blake Ave.
1 arrested on warrant
Police arrested Higenio Conception Madrigal, 59, on a local warrant at 9:29 p.m. Friday at 414 Pillsbury Ave.
1 cited for open container of alcohol, another for cannabis in vehicle
Police cited Evan Douglas Fure, 21, for having an open container of alcohol and Nallely Bueno Guzman, 24, for no proof of insurance and an open package of cannabis after a traffic stop at 11:36 p.m. Friday near Triangle Drive and Wedgemore Drive.
Dog bite reported
Police received a report at 11:42 a.m. Saturday of a child who was being seen in the emergency room who had been bitten by a dog while at a friend’s house.
Theft reported
Police received a report at 3:57 p.m. Saturday of a theft that had occurred on Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
