$1 million Powerball winning ticket sold in Metamora

A Powerball ticket purchased in Michigan won $1 million in Monday’s drawing.

The ticket matched the five white balls drawn Monday — 22, 42, 44, 57 and 64 — but did not match the Powerball, 18.

Metamora BP at 3839 S. Lapeer Rd., a gas station in Metamora between Oxford and Lapeer, sold the winning ticket.

Nobody matched all five and the Powerball, meaning the jackpot grows to $117 million ($53.4 million cash value) for the next drawing on Wednesday.
