State police in Connecticut responded to more than 1,600 calls for service over the holiday and 150 crashes, none of which involved any fatalities or serious injuries.
Between Monday at midnight and 11:59 p.m. on Christmas Day, troopers made 168 traffic stops and 15 driving under the influence arrests, according to Connecticut State Police.
Of the 150 crashes reported, state police said 14 involved injuries, none of which were considered serious. No fatalities were reported, according to state police.
Among the 1,632 calls for service, 164 involved “traffic services” such as removing debris from the road or assisting with a disabled or hazardous vehicle.
