A 66-year-old woman went missing last week during a visit to the Grand Canyon.
Martha Overholser was last seen Dec. 10 at Mather Point on the Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim when she did not return to a commercial bus tour, according to the National Park Service. She is thought to have walked east from the Mather Point area, possibly toward the Bright Angel Lodge or Hermits Rest, the park service said.
Overholser is described as a white woman standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a long off-white coat, gray hooded sweatshirt and navy blue hip bag, the park service said.
Anyone who may have seen Overholser is asked to reach the park service at 888-653-0009 or email nps_isb@nps.gov.
