One person has died following a house fire in Windsor early Sunday morning.
New York State Police at Deposit were dispatched by the Broome County 911 Center at approximately 4:43 a.m. to 68 White Birch Lake Road in the town of Windsor to assist at a house fire.
According to a news release, the house was fully engulfed when troopers arrived. Two people, an 82-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, were able to escape. One man was trapped inside.
Daniel R. Price, 84, was found dead inside the residence by members of the Windsor Fire Department.
The other two people were transported by ambulance to UHS Wilson Medical Center for what state police said appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The Windsor Fire Department and state police were assisted by West Windsor, Harpursville, Five Mile Point, Susquehanna and Deposit Fire Departments.
The Broome County Fire Investigator and Broome County Coroner also responded to the scene.
