Apple TV+ will be free to use this weekend from Jan. 3 to Jan. 5, the streaming service announced Monday.

The streaming service is home to hit original shows like “Ted Lasso” and “The Morning Show” as well as a slew of popular movies like “Wolfs” and “Killers of the Flower Moon.”

And if you missed out on the classic Peanuts movies this holiday season, the “Charlie Brown” films are also available on Apple TV+.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” will stream exclusively on Apple TV+ this year.

How to stream Apple TV+ for free this weekend

Apple TV+ will be completely free to stream this weekend. All that’s needed to take advantage of the free offer is an Apple ID, the streaming service said.

The offer will last from Jan. 3 through Jan. 5 and be available on any device around the world where Apple TV+ is available.

Can you watch ‘Wicked’ for free on Apple TV+ this weekend?

“Wicked” is hitting streaming services this week, including Apple TV, but it won’t be available for free as part of the Apple TV+ offer.

The movie is available to watch on streaming this week for $29.99 on Amazon Prime, Fandango, YouTube and Apple TV.

However, “Wicked” is not available as part of the free streaming weekend on Apple TV+ because the platform is different from Apple TV.

Apple TV is a library of movies and shows for rent or purchase, while Apple TV+ is a streaming service for Apple Originals.

While Apple TV+ titles are available to watch through the Apple TV app, only Apple original shows and movies are on the Apple TV+ streaming service.

How much does Apple TV+ cost?

Typically, Apple TV+ costs $9.99 a month, according to Apple.
