TRENDING STORIES:

The boyfriend told police Anderson had not been seen for several days and her 1997 Oldsmobile was also missing.

On Aug. 16, 2001, a decomposed body with “severe trauma” was found in Ross County and identified as Anderson, prompting a homicide investigation.

On Oct. 23, 2001, Anderson’s Oldsmobile was found by police in an Atlanta parking lot.

In 2002, a Montgomery County Grand Jury declined to indict a possible suspect in the murder due to “insufficient evidence”, Heck said.

After more witnesses came forward and additional evidence was found, Jonathan Eric Link was arrested at his home in Centerville on Jan. 13, 2025.

Heck said Link, who was identified as Anderson’s boyfriend at the time of her disappearance, has been indicted on two counts of Murder.
