The Akron man shot and killed Saturday morning outside of an apartment building has been identified.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office says Mashoure Snyder, 36, of Akron, died in the apparent altercation.
Authorities say Snyder’s body was found around 3 a.m. in a parking lot in the 500 block of Carpenter Street.
The medical examiner’s office says he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
Akron Police say it appears there was altercation inside of an apartment that involved two men and a third person.
The incident moved outside, they say, where a fight ensued and Snyder was shot multiple times.
One man had been taken in for questioning, but was later released after being interviewed and was not charged.
The investigation continues.
