Jan. 6—With the arrival of Monday’s winter storm, Baltimore-area schools, offices, government services and more have announced cancellations, changes and closures that could linger into Tuesday. Here’s what to know.
Schools
The following Baltimore area school districts will be closed Tuesday in the wake of Monday’s winter snowstorm:
— Howard County Public School System.
— Prince George’s County Public School System.
— Frederick County Public Schools.
— Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
— Harford County Public Schools.
— Baltimore County Public Schools.
— Carroll County Public Schools.
— Baltimore City Public Schools.
The following private schools in the region have also announced delays or closings and canceled activities for Tuesday:
— The St. Paul’s Schools will open with a two-hour delay Tuesday.
— Glenelg Country School will be closed.
— Garrison Forest School will open at 10 a.m.
— Bryn Mawr will open at 10 a.m.
— Boys’ Latin has a two-hour delay, with school beginning at 10 a.m.
— Loyola Blakefield will participate in virtual learning Tuesday.
— Gilman will have a two-hour delay on Tuesday.
— The Park School will have a two-hour delay Tuesday.

— Bowie State’s campus will be closed Tuesday.

— All Loyola University Maryland campuses are closed Tuesday.
— Towson University’s campus will close until noon Tuesday, but all classes will be virtual.
Government services
Maryland
— The Supreme Court of Maryland will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with oral argument to be delivered on Zoom.
— The Appellate Court of Maryland is open at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
— The United States District Court for the District of Maryland open at 11 a.m. Tuesday in both Baltimore and Greenbelt locations.
— Many MTA bus routes service have been affected by the winter storm. Several Express Bus routes between Baltimore City and Baltimore County will not run Tuesday.
— All MARC train lines will operate on the R schedule Tuesday.

Baltimore City
— The city government will open on a two-hour delay Tuesday, with telework and liberal leave for non-essential employees.
— All branches of the Enoch Pratt Free Library are closed Tuesday.
— All Charm City Circulator routes will resume service at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
— The Harbor Connector will operate as scheduled.
— Street sweeping operations are suspended until further notice.
— Baltimore City Circuit Courthouses will open to the public at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Jurors are excused.
— The Seagirt Marine Terminal main gate will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday, but the New Vail outbound gate will be closed.
— Trash and recycling collection scheduled for Tuesday has been rescheduled for Wednesday.
— Code Purple winter shelter activation will be in effect until Saturday at 9 a.m.
Baltimore County
— Baltimore County government will open at 10 a.m. with liberal leave or telework for employees.
— Baltimore County Circuit Court will open at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Jurors are excused.
— The Baltimore County Council’s rescheduled Legislative Session will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the County Council Chamber and via video teleconference.
— Regular trash pickup and recycling will resume Tuesday.
— The Towson Loop Circulator will begin operating at 10 a.m.
— All branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will open at 1 p.m.
— Senior centers will be closed Tuesday.
Howard County
— Howard County Government offices have not announced any closures (except schools) or schedule changes for Tuesday as of 9 p.m. Monday.
— All Howard County Recreation and Parks programs and activities in HCPSS schools are canceled for Tuesday.
Anne Arundel County
— City of Annapolis government offices will open at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, with liberal leave in place.
— Transportation will be focused on dialysis and fixed route transports only Tuesday. No medical or senior center transports will occur.
— Trash and recycling pickups scheduled for Monday will move to Tuesday. Tuesday pickups will move to Wednesday.
— Senior Activity Centers will be closed Tuesday. The Senior Center Plus program is canceled. Lunch will not be served at any senior activity center or congregate site. For more information, call 410-222-0256.
— Parking along snow routes may result in towing. Free parking is available at City Garages (Park Place, Knighton, Gotts and Hillman) for the duration of the storm. City officials will allow at least six hours for cars to be removed after the storm is over.
— The Stanton Center, at 92 W. Washington St. in Annapolis will serve as a temporary emergency warming center through 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Carroll County
— Carroll County government will open on time Tuesday with no delay for the Northern Landfill, Carroll Transit System or community and senior centers.
— Warming centers will be open across the county beginning at various times Tuesday through Sunday.
— Carroll County Circuit Court and Juvenile Court will open at 10:30 a.m.
