Some would argue that the best part about the holiday season is seeing all of the halls, streets, houses and more decked to the nines.

A little twinkling light here, a little red ribbon there, maybe even a candy cane or two.

And, in the age of Instagram photo dumps and TikTok vlogs, what’s more fun than a holiday restaurant or bar with the scenery to match? Here’s a list of “wow” worthy outings in South Jersey for you to hit before the season ends.

Holiday pop-ups in South Jersey

Vintner Wonderland at Renault Winery, Egg Harbor City

In addition to wine and culinary, this seasonal festival includes ice skating, live entertainment and more.

Kids can play in Santa’s Workshop or write the big man letters with their every wish. Families can also take a pic in the photobooth, explore and bid on decorated trees or enjoy the fire pit when the evening gets chilly.

While skating requires tickets, entry into the venue is free.

The wonderland is open Fridays 4 – 10 p.m., Saturdays 12 – 10 p.m., Sundays 12 – 6 p.m. and 12 – 10 p.m. for all dates Dec. 26 through Dec. 31.

Winter Wonderland at Congress Hall, Cape May

If you want Christmas by the shore, this is the spot for you.

Open through December 31, Congress Hall has been transformed into a winter wonderland fit for the whole family.

Seasonal events include breakfast with Santa, story time with Mrs. Clause, train and carousel rides, food, shopping and lots of magic.

The hours are Thursday 3-8 p.m., Friday 2-9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
