Big Lots plans “going out of business” sales

Dec. 20—COLUMBUS — Big Lots is planning to have “going out of business” sales at all of its stores.

According to Fox Business News, Big Lots does not anticipate completing a previously announced purchase agreement with Nexus Capital Management and will continue working toward an alternative sale with either Nexus or another company with hopes of completion by early January.

Based out of Columbus, the retailer filed for bankruptcy in September and announced that some locations were closing.

According to the Big Lots website, there are 90 locations in Ohio.

Lima’s lone location is at 2100 Harding Highway, and a nearby location in Van Wert is at 1155 S. Shannon St.

There are 960 locations in the United States.
