Body wrapped in plastic found in bushland

A body has been found wrapped in plastic in bushland.

The disturbing find was made along Foreshore Rd at Botany, near Sydney Airport on Monday morning.

“A police operation is underway in bushes off Foreshore Road, at Botany, following reports of a body located,” a police spokesman said.

“Officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command are being assisted by specialist officers from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.

“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced. “No further information available at this time.”
