“Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Mayer wiener …,” are the words of the famous ad jingle.
While you can’t be an Oscar Mayer wiener, you can see the equally famous Wienermobile in Oak Ridge.
The Wienermobile will visit the Kroger store, 1550 Oak Ridge Turnpike, from 10 a.m.-1 pm. Wednesday, Jan. 22, according to a news release.
“The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is bringing smiles and spreading cheer across East Tennessee! Don’t miss your chance to see this beloved American icon up close, snap some photos, and enjoy a fun family outing at Kroger locations,” states the publicity. It’s a free event. “Guests will have the chance to take pictures with the Wienermobile and interact with the Hotdoggers, the official Wienermobile drivers and brand ambassadors.”
If you can’t make the Oak Ridge visit that big wiener is moving on to Knoxville Kroger stores, as well.
