It’s Christmas Day and Greater Cincinnati’s most notable residents and institutions are finding different ways to say happy holidays.
While many are busy with family visits, or maybe even some last-minute gift shopping, the holiday greetings are rolling in from across Cincinnati. See how the region is celebrating the yuletide season this year.

JD Vance bakes biscuits, Fiona celebrates Christmas
Vice President-elect JD Vance, an East Walnut Hills resident, posted a video on X of himself baking homemade biscuits with his 3-year-old daughter Mirabel.
“Merry Christmas everyone!” the post reads.
Jeff Ruby, the Cincinnati restauranteur, also offered holiday wishes in a post featuring a scene from the classic Christmas flick “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden posted a collection of Fiona the hippo’s Christmases over the years, including her opening presents and posing under a painted-on Santa hat.
Kings Island hosted a holiday competition between Santa and Jack Frost on one of the park’s original coasters, The Racer.
“Wishing you a holiday season as thrilling as a ride on The Racer!” the amusement park said.
‘Best fans in the world’: Reds, Bengals wish fans happy holidays
Cincinnati’s professional sports teams wished their fans happy holidays with festive social media posts.

The Cincinnati Reds posted a remembrance to when newly acquired pitcher Brady Singer paid off his parents’ debt as a Christmas present, after he was drafted in the first round of the MLB Draft in 2018.
“Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,” the Reds said in a separate post.
The Cincinnati Bengals posted a video of its players wishing holiday cheer for their fans. The players even ranked which of their teammates were on the naughty or nice list this year.
“Best fans in the world. Merry Christmas,” wide receiver Charlie Jones said.
FC Cincinnati also offered season’s greetings with a snow globe featuring TQL Stadium in the foreground and the Cincinnati skyline behind it.
“Wishing you all the happiest of holidays!” the soccer team said on X.
Skyline, Gold Star offer season’s greetings and chili
Skyline Chili and Gold Star had their own Christmas messages this year with a Cincinnati chili twist, of course.
“Merry Christmas ya Chili loving animals!” Gold Star said on X. The company also posted a photo of the plate it left this year for Santa.
“Happy Holidays from our family to yours!” Skyline said in a post, with a Cincinnati chili fan’s dream stocking stuffer.
