Dec. 23—Jasper County authorities are investigating the death Sunday of a Wichita, Kansas, man near the intersection of the 800 block of West Fountain Road and North Upward Lane.
Deputies found Jacob Urban, 31, in medical distress. Immediate lifesaving aid was provided by the officers and medical personnel who arrived at the scene.
Jasper County detectives have initiated an investigation, though foul play is not suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the man’s cause of death, the sheriff’s department reported.
The agency said there is no apparent threat to the public.
