Lee County Sheriff’s Office
The following reports were filed Thursday by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
A Mooreville woman said she was concerned about a German shepherd at a County Road 1205, Nettleton, address. There was standing water in front of the doghouse, so the dog was standing behind the house to avoid the puddle. She asked for a welfare check. A deputy went to the location and saw a small puddle that was not keeping the dog from its house. The dog had a healthy appearance and was in good condition. There was no one at home, so the officer will try back at a later date.
A County Road 1295, Mooreville, woman said she got emails from her bank about charges on her debit card. One charge was $19.95 to First Latitude and the other was to Open Sky for $650. Both are secured credit card companies. Her bank said she needed to file a report before they could open an investigation.
A Drive 939, Tupelo, man said overnight someone entered his unlocked pickup and stole four firearms — a 9mm pistol, a .22-caliber pistol and two 35 Wheelen rifles.
