Felonies

The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Thursday at 11 a.m.

Larecak Lashia Coleman, 29, of Saltillo, was arrested by the Saltillo Police Department, false pretense.

Hayden Bryce Till, 23, of Baldwyn, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, possession of methamphetamine.

Norman O’Bryan Trice, 38, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Verona Police Department, violation of probation, possession of a Schedule II drug.

The following reports were filed Thursday by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

A County Road 1554, Tupelo, woman said some time overnight, someone ran over her county-issued garbage can, destroying it. Waste Management told her she had to file a police report to get a replacement can.

A Silver Lake Road, Guntown, man said someone started driving across the corner of his property last Thursday. After the snow Friday, the person continued to cut the corner. The person continued driving through the man’s yard Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The man put a T post in the ground Tuesday morning. The person started to cut across, but saw the metal fence post and re-entered the roadway. He said he is not sure who was responsible, but the damage will cost more than $2,000 to repair.

A County Road 2204, Saltillo, woman said her neighbor’s five bulldogs roam the neighborhood causing problems. The dogs come over and harass the cats that she feeds on her property. Last night, the dogs came over and barked at the cats all night. They even came onto her front porch barking and growling. The deputy explained that Lee County does not have a leash law, but she has the right to protect herself, her family and her pets from aggressive animals.
