A 24-year-old man has been arrested after reportedly flipping his car over and landing upside down between two Longmont homes early Sunday morning.
According to Longmont police spokesperson Rogelio Mares, at 2:59 a.m. Sunday, police attempted to pull over a reckless driver reportedly eluding officers. The vehicle crashed and ended up on its roof, upside down between two homes in the 900 block of South Pratt Parkway. Mares said that the driver fled the scene and was tracked down in Kanemoto Park, where he was taken into custody.
The man was arrested and is facing charges of vehicular eluding; driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash; and driving without a driver’s license.
