Police are now offering a reward in hopes of finding the accused killer of a metro restaurant owner.
Blanca Sauer’s body was found on Christmas Eve. She was the longtime operator of Casa de Quesadilla restaurant in Sandy Springs.
“She was a beautiful woman. She had a very big heart. She loved her nieces and nephews and her sisters. She was extremely, extremely family-oriented. She would literally do anything for anyone,” Elaine Adams said about Sauer, her stepmother.
Adams told Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne that she wanted to be interviewed because she wants Roberto Dominguez Soto captured.
Roswell police have issued a murder warrant for Dominguez Soto, who remains on the run.
While Sauer may be Adam’s stepmother, she told Winne that she’s the only mother she’s ever known.
“My heart shattered,” Adams said. “She never made me feel any less than her daughter. She was there for the birth of my children. She’s been Grandma.”

A cyclist discovered Sauer’s body in a ditch on Christmas Eve by the popular Riverwalk Trail.
“Tragically, the victim had been shot and her body discarded in the area where it was found. We immediately mobilized all of our investigative resources and were able to quickly identify our suspect, Roberto Dominguez Soto, who had had a very brief relationship with the victim,” Officer Tim Lupo with the Roswell Police Department said.
Now, he says there’s a new reward.
“Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta has offered an enhanced reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest. That information can be provided entirely anonymously, and that reward can be claimed anonymously as well,” Lupo said.
Sisters Maria and Erika Delgado said Dominguez Soto did some plumbing for Sauer at the restaurant she ran, and she may have dated him a few times. But they said she was not interested in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship or any lasting relationship with him though he apparently was.
“I feel like this gentleman slowly became obsessed with her,” Erika Delgado said.
Maria Delgado said she arrived at Sauer’s home one time to find the door kicked in Sauer told her Dominguez Soto had done it and stolen her phone, which he later returned.
“Blanca did say that she feared for her life and if anything were to ever happen to her that it was most likely Roberto Dominquez Soto,” Maria Delgado said.
“I find myself in prayer and I also ask God for this gentleman to be found and to be brought to justice,” Erika Delgado said.
“God has given me the strength,” Maria Delgado said. “It would mean the world for us for someone to come forward and announce where he might be, his location.”
Lupo said Dominguez Soto is also wanted by Interpol on a firearms charge out of Mexico and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Dominguez Soto’s whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
