Farm Financial Fitness Night slated for Hardin, Mercer counties

Dec. 9—KENTON — OSU extensions are putting on a Farm Financial Fitness Night on Jan. 15 and 16.

Both programs will last from 5:30 to 8 p.m., including dinner.

Hardin County’s will be on Jan. 15 at 1021 Lima Street, Suite 103, Kenton. Mercer County’s will be on Jan. 16 at 4978 Mud Pike, Celina.

This event, according to a press release from Ohio State University Extension, covers essential topics to help attendees manage farm finances. The event highlights budgeting, record keeping, financial reports, cash flow management, and farm income and profit. The program is designed for farmers and agricultural producers, farm managers and operators, and anyone interested in improving their farm’s financial health.

There is no cost for the class. Anyone wishing to take the class must visit go.osu.edu/farmfinancenight or call either Extension office at 419-674-2294 (Hardin) or 419-586-2179 (Mercer) to pre-register by Jan. 13. Space is limited to 30 participants at each location.
