Dec. 9—Come celebrate the holidays with the West Texas Food Bank and Green Tree Neighborhood as they join forces to spread Christmas cheer while giving back to those in need. The event is at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Green Tree Country Club parking lot, 4900 Greentree Blvd., Midland.
It will feature a festive Golf Cart Parade where residents of the Green Tree neighborhood will decorate their golf carts and parade through the community. There will be hot chocolate, snacks, and Christmas music provided by a DJ. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the West Texas Food Bank, supporting their mission to fight food insecurity in the community.
This is not just a fun holiday event, but a meaningful way for the community to come together and make an impact. With every dollar raised, the West Texas Food Bank can provide meals to families in need during the holiday season, a news release said.
