Looking for a sober-friendly vacation spot this Dry January? Columbus has one of the best.
In a Forbes list of 8 U.S. Hotels For A Sober-Friendly Vacation, The Junto is listed among the top hotels nationwide as an ideal hotel spot with quality alcohol-free drinks.
Located in Franklinton, The Junto is a 198-room hotel with a coffee shop, bar, two restaurants and event spaces.
“We’re thrilled to be featured in Forbes alongside iconic brands and honored to have our F&B (food and beverage) program recognized as a standout,” said Jason Delcamp, managing director of The Junto.
Ranked among top hotels like the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, The St. Regis New York and Fairmont Olympic Hotel, The Junto is celebrated for its hip boutique-style lobby called The Trade Room.

Just one year after opening in 2023, The Junto joined Hocking Hills State Park Lodge in a “Best of Lodging” list by Midwestern Living’s magazine. The hotel was also named second best new hotel in the nation by USA TODAY readers and played a role in the city’s ranking of 34th best city in the nation.
Delcamp said the hotel offers a January No-Low cocktail class for guests to learn to craft non-tails.
“From the start, we’ve treated nonalcoholic beverages with the same care and creativity as our cocktails, encouraging guests to enjoy no or low-ABV drinks in a warm, welcoming space,” Delcamp said.
It’s the Maudine’s and Little West Tavern cafes that offer alcohol-free Rosemary’s Bambina and a CleanCo zero-proof tequila alternative to its tequila sunrise drink that makes the hotel ideal for sober travel, according to Forbes.
