Former Holyoke City Councilor appointed to HCC Board of Trustees

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Former Holyoke City Councilor Todd McGee has been appointed to Holyoke Community College’s (HCC) Board of Trustees.

McGee was a former student at HCC and graduated in 1992. He served as a city councilor for 18 years until 2023, and briefly served as Holyoke’s acting mayor in 2021, following the resignation of Mayor Alex Morse.

“I loved Holyoke Community College,” said McGee. “It has been part of my life for a very long time. I felt like an adopted son to President David Bartley. He always guided me throughout my career. I’m excited to be on this board. Anything I can do to help out, I will, because Holyoke Community College is really a family to me.”

His term in his new role runs through March 1st, 2029.
