GREEN BAY — Green Bay will start the new year off with some of the latest sunrises of the winter.
On Thursday, the sun rose at 7:27 a.m. and, on Friday, the sun will rise at 7:28 a.m. in Green Bay — marking the latest sunrise the city has seen since Jan. 8, according to timeanddate.com. Including New Year’s Eve, the first week of 2025 looks to have a string of similar late sunrises.
After that, the sun will start rising earlier, as the days keep getting longer in Green Bay. Since Dec. 21, which was the shortest day of the year, the city has been gradually regaining daylight.

When will the sun start setting after 5 p.m. in Green Bay?
