State Rep. Stan Lambert will have a legislative townhall 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Abilene.
Lambert will provide a short legislative update, followed by a question-and-answer session with the lawmaker with those in attendance.
The event will be in the Community Room at the Abilene Community Foundation, 850 N. First St. All residents of the Republican lawmaker’s House District 71 are invited to attend.
Lambert represents Taylor, Callahan, Jones and Nolan counties.

Earlier on Wednesday, Lambert will be among a panel of speakers at the Abilene Young Professionals last ABIChat luncheon of the year.
The event will focus on the importance of local elections and will feature Lambert, Abilene Mayor Weldon Hurt and Taylor County Judge Phil Crowley.
The event will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Foundation of Abilene.
