Here’s how much snow Fort Collins has gotten so far and what to expect this weekend

Fort Collins got the bulk of its forecast snow overnight, with the city’s official weather station on the Colorado State University campus reporting 3.6 inches of new snow as of 7 a.m. Saturday.

A southwest Fort Collins site reported 4.3 inches of snow Saturday morning, according to snowfall reports on the National Weather Service site.

Here’s a look at the latest forecast as well as which Colorado areas have reported the highest snowfall totals so far.

Fort Collins weather forecast

According to the National Weather Service:

  • Saturday: 40% chance of additional snow, mostly before 4 p.m. The forecast says less than half an inch of daytime snow is possible. Temperatures are expected to stay around 13 degrees, but wind chill could get as low as minus 3.

  • Saturday night: Low around minus 8.

  • Sunday: Partly sunny. The forecast high is near 16, but wind chill could get as low as minus 7.

  • Sunday night: 50% chance of snow, with the forecast calling for less than inch of new snow accumulation. Low temperature around minus 3 with wind chill as low as minus 10.

  • Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day): 20% chance of snow before 11 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high temperature near 7.

  • Monday night: Low around minus 12.

  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31 and a low around 13.

Here’s which Colorado areas have gotten the most snow as of Saturday morning, according to snowfall reports on the National Weather Service website.

  • Golden (2 miles southwest): 13.5 inches as of 7 a.m.

  • Sunshine (1 mile north): 13.1 inches as of 7:39 a.m.

  • Eldora (1 mile southwest): 11.5 inches as of 9:06 a.m.

  • Ward (3 miles southwest): 10.8 inches as of 9:26 a.m.

  • Boulder (2 miles west): 10.2 inches as of 9:27 a.m.

  • Boulder (3 miles south-southwest): 9.1 inches as of 11 a.m.

  • Longs Peak (4 miles south): 9 inches as of 9:26 a.m.

  • Boulder (2 miles northwest): 8.8 inches as of 7 a.m.

CSU working to clear snow around Moby Arena prior to Saturday game

Colorado State University is prioritizing clearing snow around Moby Arena and campus residence halls, according to a CSU Police & Safety post on X. The CSU women’s basketball team is set to take on New Mexico at 1 p.m.
