Newly released data from Realtor.com for October shows that potential buyers and sellers in Manitowoc County saw lower home sale prices than the previous month’s median of $215,000.
The median home sold for $212,700, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows. That means October, the most recent month for which figures are available, was down 1.1% from September.
Compared to October 2023, the median home sales price was up 18.3% compared to $179,750.
Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

Looking only at single-family homes, the $212,700 median selling price in Manitowoc County was up 1.3% in October from $210,000 the month prior. Since October 2023, the sales price of single-family homes was up 20% from a median of $177,250. No single-family homes sold for $1 million or more during the month.

Condominiums and townhomes decreased by 22.5% in sales price during October to a median of $228,500 from $295,000 in September. Compared to October 2023, the sales price of condominiums and townhomes was up 11.3% from $205,300. No condominiums or townhomes sold for $1 million or more during October.

In October, the number of recorded sales in Manitowoc County dropped by 5% since October 2023 — from 100 to 95. All residential home sales totaled $23.3 million.
Across Wisconsin, homes sold at a median of $299,114 during October, down 0.3% from $300,000 in September. There were 4,815 recorded sales across the state during October, up 4.6% from 4,605 recorded sales in October 2023.
