A homicide investigation is under way after a body was found in bushes near Sydney Airport.
Police on Monday said officers were investigating following morning reports that a body had been found in bushland off Foreshore Rd at Botany, in Sydney’s southeast.
Local investigators were being helped by specialist police from the Homicide Squad after the find.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident had been launched, police said.
The site is located near the Botany Bay foreshore, between Sydney Airport and Port Botany, the city’s main shipping terminal.
