A teen was allegedly chased, cornered and stabbed by a group of people from two separate cars in a horror attack in Melbourne’s northwest.
Police were told a 17-year-old boy was dropped off in Riverbend Drive in Darley about 5.50am on Monday.
He had been walking down the street when a white Ford sedan pulled up.

CCTV footage captured the moment the sedan’s doors opened before the car had even stopped moving, with five people jumping out.
A group of three people dressed in what appears to be dark hoodies then chased the teen to Hartog Grove.
The teenager was cornered in the backyard of a property where he was assaulted and stabbed.
Police allege a silver Subaru Liberty was at Hartog Grove during the assault and stabbing, with a group of people from the second car allegedly involved.

The 17-year-old was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his upper and lower body.
Investigators believe those involved were known to the teenager.
Investigators have released CCTV footage of a group of people they believe may be able to assist police with their inquiries.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident have been urged to come forward.
