Winter Storm Blair has already brought a measurable amount of snow to the Louisville area with plenty more expected before the storm ends Monday.

Many businesses have closed for the day and some schools already announced plans to cancel school Monday due to the weather.

How much snow is the region and state set to receive?

Here is what the National Weather Service is saying:

  • Oldham County: 5-9 inches

  • Bullitt County: 4-9 inches

  • Elizabethtown: 3-5 inches

  • Bowling Green: Less than an inch

How much snow will Louisville get?

The National Weather Service has predicted the Louisville Meto area will receive between 4-8 inches of snow during the day Sunday. Another 1-2 inches are possible Monday.

Overnight Sunday ice accumulation is expected between .3 and .5 inches.

How much snow will Oldham County get?

Between 3 and 7 inches are forecast Sunday with overnight ice accumulation of .3 to .5 inches. Monday could bring another 1-2 inches of snow.

Snow and sleet accumulation of between 3 and 7 inches with possible ice accumulation of .1 to .2 inches Sunday. Overnight could bring another .3 to .5 inches of ice. Monday is predicted to see another 1-2 inches of snow and sleet.

How much snow will Elizabethtown get?

The Elizabethtown area is expected to receive between .1 and .3 inches of ice Sunday along with between 2-4 inches of snow. Sunday night should bring freezing rain, potential thunderstorms and an additional .2 to .4 inches of ice.

Monday, the region could receive another inch of snow.

The state capitol should receive between 3-7 inches of snow and sleet Sunday. Overnight will see between .3 and .5 inches of ice accumulate.

Monday, the area is forecast to receive another .1 inch of ice and another 1-2 inches of snow.

How much snow will Bowling Green get?

The Bowling Green area is set to receive less than half-an-inch of snow Sunday with ice accumulations of .1 of an inch. Overnight, area is set to receive between .5 and .75 inches of precipitation. Monday, new precipitation will be less than an inch.
