Humane Animal Partners has free pet services available for cat owners in New Castle County this December.
Supported by a $50,000 grant-in-aid from the Delaware General Assembly, HAP is offering two free spay/neuter days for county-owned cats. If needed, a free rabies vaccine will be administered during the visit.
Community and stray cats are not eligible for this clinic.

“These free spay and neuter days are an incredible opportunity for cat owners in our community to access vital veterinary care while actively combating our state’s overpopulation crisis,” says Humane Animal Partners CEO Patrick Carroll. “We’re grateful to the Delaware General Assembly for their support, allowing us to launch this crucial initiative and enhance the lives of pets and their families.”
To participate, cat owners can visit HAP’s Wilmington location at 701 A St. on Dec. 12 or the Stanton location at 455 Stanton Christiana Road on Dec. 18.
