Let’s settle a debate, Arizona. When do you turn on your heater?

Winter might feel like a season slowly becoming absent from the calendar in the Phoenix area.

With daily high temperatures barely dipping below 80 degrees, the Valley’s weather remains warmer than usual for this time of year, and the chilly season is still beyond sight, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

The lingering autumn-like warmth not only offers pleasant days for outdoor activities but could also provide some financial relief for local households after the electric bill price hikes that usually happen during the scorching summer months in the city.

While some families may be taking advantage of the mild weather by keeping both their ACs and heaters off, others might already have turned on their heaters, especially with evening temperatures dropping into the mid-50s.
