Meta has suffered a major outage, with people across the globe reporting Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp are down.
The reports began flowing in just after 4.30am AEDT on Thursday, according to Down Detector.

Meta apologised for any inconveniences in a statement posted to X.
“We’re aware that a technical issue is impacting some users’ ability to access our apps,” the statement read.
“We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience.”
