Dec. 10—An Odessa man was arrested last week after a 15-year-old girl accused him of sexually assaulting her.
According to an Odessa Police Department report, the girl told detectives Jarvis Arnold invited her into his hotel room on Highway 80 Dec. 3 and offered her an alcoholic drink known as a “buzz ball” and then sexually assaulted her.
A sexual assault nurse examiner’s exam confirmed the girl had traumatic injuries, the report indicated.
Arnold was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a child and furnishing alcohol to a minor. He was released from the Ector County jail Dec. 5 after posting surety bonds totaling $52,000.
