Georgia State Patrol arrested a man after they say he led troopers on a high-speed chase on Interstate 20 on Wednesday.
Just before 9 p.m., troopers were driving on I-20 eastbound near Boulevard in Atlanta when they saw a blue car speeding as it passed.
Troopers got behind the blue Dodge Dart and watched as the driver failed to maintain the lane and followed other vehicles too closely. GSP says the driver almost hit another car while trying to make a lane change.

The car exited I-20 onto Maynard Terrace, took a right, then made an immediate U-Turn and sped up.
Troopers chased the car through city streets before the driver pulled into a parking lot near Wyman Street and Wade Avenue. Georgia State Patrol said the driver then jumped into the back seat. Troopers arrested everyone in the car.
Troopers noticed the strong odor of alcohol on his breath. He was arrested for DUI, fleeing, and other traffic-related charges.
When troopers looked up the driver’s history they saw he had a suspended license and multiple warrants from Richmond County. GSP has not identified the man.
