This morning, officials in Seminole County released details on the arrest of Kyle Izbicky, who is alleged to have caused a fatal hit-and-run accident involving a bicyclist in Casselberry.

The incident occurred on Friday when Izbicky, allegedly driving a Ford F-150, was traveling northbound on Red Bug Lake Road.
A 62-year-old bicyclist from Casselberry was crossing on the sidewalk when Izbicky’s vehicle struck him.

The bicyclist was rushed to the hospital but would later die due to his injuries.
Thanks to a witness who followed Izbicky’s truck and provided crucial information, law enforcement was able to locate him.

Izbicky was charged with “Failing to stop and remain at a crash involving severe bodily injury” and was later released on a $15,000 bond.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate this tragic event, and Izbicky’s court date is set for Feb. 11, 2025.
