A man has been charged in the shooting of an 11-year-old boy, according to Chicago police.
Jeston Harris, 27, turned himself in to police Sunday morning in the 700 block of East 111th Street, where he was later arrested, police said.
Harris was identified as the offender in a shooting that occurred on Dec. 13 at 8:27 am. Harris fired shots at a vehicle following a minor traffic crash, striking an 11-year-old boy in the hand, police said.
Harris has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery/discharge firearm as well as four felony counts of aggravated assault/discharge firearm.
He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
