Man shot in the head in Fife. Police ask public to help identify the alleged shooter

Fife police are asking the public to help identify someone they say shot a man in the head outside his apartment.

The victim only had a graze wound to his scalp, according to a Fife Police Department news release Dec. 26.

The release did not say when or where the shooting happened. The News Tribune has reached out to Fife police for more information.

The victim was leaving his apartment and tried to walk past the alleged shooter, who was wearing a black hat. The man got out a handgun, shot the victim in the head and ran off, according to the release.

The firearm used in the shooting has not been recovered.

The alleged shooter was seen in surveillance photos with another man who was wearing a white hoodie.

If anyone recognizes the suspect, they are asked to contact Detective Rackley at 253-896-8258.
