A man accused of killing his partner then setting fire to her house while her three-year-old daughter was inside will go to trial.
Luke Hanif Sekkouah was charged with murder and arson after his partner and mum-of-four Erica Hay’s death.
Ms Hay’s body was found inside a bedroom at the back of her Warnbro home in Perth’s south on April 26.

Both Mr Sekkouah and Ms Hay’s young daughter suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to Rockingham Hospital by paramedics.
Arson squad detectives and fire investigators went to Ms Hay’s home – owned by the Department of Communities – to determine the cause of the blaze.
Mr Sekkouah was later charged.

The 35-year-old appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via videolink from Casuarina Prison on Wednesday, pleading not guilty to the murder and arson charges.
Mr Sekkouah was remanded in custody and committed to stand trial in the higher WA Supreme Court. He is next due to appear on January 20.
