MassDOT to inspect I-195 structures from Seekonk to New Bedford. Here’s what to expect

NEW BEDFORD — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will perform ancillary structure inspections on Interstate 195 eastbound and westbound from Seekonk to New Bedford on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The work should be completed by Thursday evening, Jan. 9., according to a press release.

Lane closures on I-195 eastbound and westbound will be in place. Temporary traffic alterations, including lane and shoulder closures, will occur as needed. At least one lane of travel will be maintained at all times, and police will assist with traffic control and safety setups.
