A Matawan man has been sentenced to nine years in state prison for secretly recording six female victims, including a 16-year-old, using a hidden camera in a bathroom in a Matawan home and posting the videos on two adult websites, authorities said.
Michael Mattina, 59, will also be placed on the Megan’s Law list of sex offenders and undergo parole supervision for life, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan sentenced Mattina Friday. He pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography and invasion of privacy on July 22.
Ryan handed down a five-year prison term for the pornography charge and a four-year term on the invasion of privacy offense, which are to run consecutively. Mattina will be ineligible for parole for five years in connection to the pornography charge.
