Dec. 10—A Middlebury man was hospitalized crash a crash on the south side of Goshen on Monday.
Jordan Allen, 64, of Middlebury, was traveling east on U.S. 20 when Elkhart County deputies believe he suffered a medical issue at 4:46 p.m. Monday.
His 2016 Hyundai Accent ran off the north side of U.S. 20 west of C.R. 27 and collided with a utility pole, overturning several times and landing upright in a ditch.
Allen was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of his injuries and cited for driving while suspended with priors.
Driver injured in crash
Elkhart County deputies reported that at 8:26 p.m. Monday, Kathleen Fozo, 72, of Mishawaka, was traveling east on Old U.S. 33 approaching the intersection at C.R. 1 when, due to being distracted, her gray Chevrolet Equinox crashed into the back of a gray Nissan Versa, driven by Tanashia Mudzimurema, 27, of Mishawaka.
Fozo was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for neck pain.
HIT-AND-RUN
—Goshen police responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 400 block of North Ninth Street at 11:26 p.m. Sunday.
—A 73-year-old man reported to Goshen police at 2:48 p.m. Monday his vehicle was struck by another in the parking of the eye doctor at 1765 Stafford Court.
ARRESTS
—A 28-year-old man was arrested and jailed by Elkhart County deputies at 10:38 p.m. Friday on an active warrant and a charge of operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license after he was stopped for a traffic violation near Pleasant Plain and Mishawaka Avenue.
—A 24-year-old man was arrested and jailed by Elkhart County deputies at 11:17 p.m. Friday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after he crashed his vehicle into a Northern Indiana Public Service Co. utility pole near C.R. 36 and C.R. 31 in Goshen.
—A 27-year-old man was arrested and jailed by Elkhart County deputies at 3:04 a.m. Saturday on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving without ever receiving a license following a traffic stop near North Third Street and West Pike Street in Goshen.
—A 17-year-old was arrested by Elkhart County deputies on Saturday on a charge of operating a vehicle intoxicated after he was stopped by police for traffic violations and also found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and alcohol.
—A 24-year-old man was arrested and jailed by Elkhart County deputies at 3:24 a.m. Sunday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after he was stopped at Toledo Road east of C.R. 13 for a moving violation.
—A 27-year-old man was arrested and jailed by Elkhart County deputies at 9:12 p.m. Sunday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license after he was stopped for traffic violations on U.S. 33 between C.R. 15 and C.R. 13.
CRIMINAL RECKLESSNESS
Elkhart County deputies at 7:38 p.m. Saturday responded to a possible accidental self-inflicted shooting in the 54000 block of Lilac Street in Elkhart.
RESIDENTIAL ENTRY
A 24-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 11:40 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday someone broke into her C.R. 15 home, battered and intimidated her.
THEFT
—An 83-year-old man reported to Goshen police at 12:03 p.m. Sunday that someone took tools from his basement in the 200 block of North Fifth Street.
—A 68-year-old man reported to Goshen police at 6:48 p.m. Sunday that someone took money from his room at Greencroft.
—A 49-year-old woman reported to Goshen police at 1:04 a.m. Monday a man she knew stole her phone and was stalking her.
—A 31-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies at 3:30 p.m. Friday someone stole jewelry and two safes belonging to her deceased grandmother from the 51000 block of C.R. 11 in Elkhart.
—A 75-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies that on Dec. 3 someone stole and cashed a check from her mailbox, in the 11000 block of C.R. 46 in Millersburg.
—A 24-year-old man reported to Goshen police at 10:35 a.m. Monday his license plate was stolen from the 900 block of Zollinger Road.
—A 46-year-old man reported to Goshen police at 4:25 p.m. Monday the theft of his vehicle from the 300 block of South 10th Street.
—A 53-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies that between Dec. 1 and Dec. 7 someone stole mail from a mailbox in the 25000 block of C.R. 6 in Elkhart.

—A 38-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 2 a.m. and 11:54 a.m. Sunday someone forced entry into her locked vehicle by breaking the driver’s window in the 51000 block of Ind. 15 in Bristol.

A 44-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies that between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 someone committed fraud against her.
