More snow is here again. Here’s how Tuesday morning and afternoon is going to pan out

Tuesday and Wednesday are set to be the coldest days this week, and more snow has already started to drop across parts of central Indiana. According to the National Weather Service for Indianapolis, light snow accumulations will likely cause minor travel impacts this morning and afternoon.

Snow is expected to continue until 10 a.m. across central Indiana.

Be prepared for slow travel and minor impacts due to slick spots on roads and reduced visibility at times.

Indianapolis is expected to see half an inch or less of snow.

The snow is coming right before a night of bitter cold with lows of 0 to -5 over most of central Indiana. Those same freezing numbers are expected early Wednesday with wind chills making the temperature feel as low as -15.

NWS Indianapolis encourages people to wear multiple layers if outside and to bring pets inside to ensure they have a warm shelter.
