Nearly 700,000 Tesla vehicles have been recalled. How to find service centers in NY

Tesla has announced it will recall nearly 700,000 vehicles due to an issue with tire pressure monitoring systems.

According to a letter from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall impacts 694,304 cars, including the Cybertruck, Model 3 and Model Y.

The announcement follows a series of other Tesla recalls throughout 2024, which have impacted millions of vehicles.

Tesla Model 3, Y and Cybertrucks recalled

Tesla’s number for the recall is SB-24-00-018. Drivers will be notified via mail Feb. 15, 2025. You can confirm whether or not your vehicle is a part of any current recalls by searching your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) online at service.tesla.com/en-US/vin-recall-search.

Tesla service centers in the Lower Hudson Valley

There are several Tesla service centers in New York, including two in Westchester.

According to the Tesla website, there are showrooms and service centers at 250 Tarrytown Road in White Plains, and 115 Kisco Ave. in Mount Kisco.

Other nearby service centers are available in Brooklyn, on Long Island, and in New Jersey.

How to check for software updates for your Tesla

Teslas can receive regularly scheduled updates with new features and patches when connected to Wi-Fi.

To see which updates are available for your vehicle, select the “Software” tab on your vehicle’s touchscreen. New updates will be as a notification on your touchscreen’s display, with the option to install immediately or schedule for later. Updates are also available to view in the Tesla app.
