Michael O’Brien of Nashua, NH won the prize after the first five numbers on his Quic Pic ticket matched those selected in the drawing. He claimed his prize on Thursday, December 5 at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Dorchester headquarters.
O’Brien said he enjoys playing all draw games offered by the Mass Lottery and that he plans to put his winnings towards his three grandchildren’s education, the Massachusetts State Lottery said.
O’Brien purchased his winning ticket at Mobil, 940 Andover St. in Tewksbury. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
