Cannon Beach city offices are closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Warrenton city offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Gearhart and Seaside city offices are closed Wednesday. All U.S. post offices are closed Wednesday, and there is no mail delivery.
Astoria, Jewell, Knappa, Warrenton/Hammond and Seaside (including Cannon Beach and Gearhart) school district schools, and Clatsop Community College, are closed for winter break.
The Astoria Library closes early on Tuesday, and is closed Wednesday. The Seaside Public Library is closed Wednesday. The Warrenton Community Library is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Port of Astoria offices and services are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Garbage collection customers through Recology Western Oregon who normally have their garbage picked up on Wednesday will have their garbage picked up on Thursday; the transfer station closes at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and is closed Wednesday. Warrenton garbage collection customers with a Wednesday pickup will have their garbage picked up on Thursday.
The Sunset Pool in Seaside closes early Tuesday and is closed Wednesday. The Astoria Aquatic Center is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Clatsop County Heritage Museum, Oregon Film Museum, Flavel House Museum and Carriage House are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The Uppertown Firefighters’ Museum is closed for the winter.
Fort Clatsop is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The Columbia River Maritime Museum is closed Wednesday.
Sunset Empire Transportation (“The Bus”) is not running Wednesday.
The Astorian offices are closed Wednesday, and no newspaper will be published on Thursday.
