SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — UPDATE: More information is being released about a structure fire in downtown Sioux City.
Firefighters responded to a fire in a residential space above Bill’s Bar on the 2100 block of Court Street.
Sioux City Fire & Rescue told KCAU 9 that they were told that 2 people were reportedly stuck in an area in the residential space.
Official said 1 person was transferred to a local hospital for further evaluation and 1 cat was taken out of the building.
The extent of the damage to the residential space from the fire is under investigation. Fire officials said more information will be released at a later date.

PREVIOUS (11:10 p.m.): Officials are on the scene at a fire in downtown Sioux City.
The fire is believed to have started late Tuesday night in the 2100 block of Court Street in a residential space above a bar. Firefighters were called to the scene at around 10:30 p.m.
KCAU 9 has a reporter at the scene and is working on gathering more information.
