One person is dead following a three-vehicle collision on Sunday morning in Northeast El Paso, police said.
The collision occurred about 7 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Gateway North Boulevard at Sean Haggerty Drive, an El Paso police spokesman said. There was one confirmed death.

All the lanes of Gateway North are closed and traffic is being detoured at Reef Sands Drive, the Texas Department of Transportation said via the X platform.
Further details on the traffic collision were not immediately available as an investigation was underway by the police Special Traffic Investigations Unit.
