A man was shot and killed on Sunday night in Peoria’s East Bluff neighborhood.
According to the Peoria Police Department, officers were called at about 7:47 p.m. to the 300 block of East Arcadia Avenue on reports of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound inside a residence.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The identity of the victim and cause of death will be released by the Peoria County coroner.

Police did not release any immediate information on a suspect, and the shooting remains under investigation.
