For the second time in less than a week, a guest at East Peoria’s Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino got a five-figure pay day after winning on one of the facility’s slot machines.
The casino said that a guest laid a $9 bet on the Blazing 777 Triple Double Jackpot Wild Nudge – produced by Las Vegas-based Light & Wonder – and matched three symbols across the game’s payline. As a result, the guest won $46,318.
It’s the second time in five days someone got a five-figure jackpot at one of the casino’s slot machines, with a guest winning nearly $29,000 on Dragon Cash on Dec. 1.

Earlier this year, a Creve Coeur man won nearly $35,000 on Dragon Cash, with another guest winning nearly $40,000 on AGS’ Clem’s Gems game on July 31. In June, someone won nearly $32,000 playing small slots, while another person won more than $54,000 on the Dragon Spin game in April.
In total, six different people have won over five figures at the casino in 2024. The facility is run by Boyd Gaming Corporation, a Las Vegas-based company best known for operating places like the Fremont and Orleans casinos in Vegas, along with Ameristar Casino hotels in Kansas City and St. Charles in suburban St. Louis.
Par-A-Dice opened in 1991 as a riverboat docking out of Peoria while a permanent home in East Peoria was under construction. Construction delays prevented the casino from moving eastward until 1993, with the land-based hotel opening in 1996.
